An elderly woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision Saturday afternoon in Mount Shasta. Police say the driver, later identified as a 45-year-old man, was located, arrested, and booked on felony DUI and hit-and-run charges.

A 21-year-old Portland man was arrested in Bend after allegedly fleeing deputies, crashing a stolen truck, and being found passed out behind the wheel. Investigators say the suspect was impaired and required medical treatment before being taken into custody.

Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Highway 99 near Rogue River after a pedestrian was killed while pushing a go-kart. The driver initially fled the scene but later contacted law enforcement and now faces DUII, hit-and-run, and Manslaughter charges.
