A Klamath Falls man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony counts related to encouraging child sexual abuse, following an investigation involving local and state law enforcement agencies.

The Klamath Falls Police Department is seeking applicants for its Volunteer in Police Services (VIPS) program, which supports patrol operations, safety checks, and administrative services throughout the community.

Sky Lakes Medical Center and Klamath Falls Police continue to expand the region’s first Hospital Resource Officer program, with veteran officer Jeff Hutcheson serving full-time on campus to improve safety and response coordination.
