A Medford man accused of 18 child sex crimes was arrested Thursday after an hours-long standoff in south Medford. Investigators say the case began after the suspect allegedly sent child sexual abuse material to undercover officers, leading to a search warrant and discovery of additional evidence.

A Klamath Falls man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony counts related to encouraging child sexual abuse, following an investigation involving local and state law enforcement agencies.

A Central Point man wanted on multiple felony charges related to child sexual abuse material was arrested in Northern California last month following a multi-agency investigation involving the U.S. Marshals Service and Southern Oregon law enforcement task forces.
