EAGLE POINT, Ore. — A child exploitation investigation led to a search warrant being served Tuesday morning at a residence in Eagle Point, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was executed April 14 on Chantrell Court by the Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team (SOCET), with assistance from the Eagle Point Police Department and the Oregon Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
Investigators said the case began after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicated that child sexual abuse material had been uploaded from the location. The information led to subpoenas and ultimately the execution of the search warrant.
During the operation, investigators seized multiple digital devices that will undergo forensic examination as the investigation continues. Authorities also conducted interviews with individuals connected to the case.

Officials said the investigation remains active, and no further details have been released at this time.
SOCET is a joint task force formed in 2020 to address child exploitation cases, bringing together investigators and prosecutors from local, state, and federal agencies.
