Armed Threat at Lakeview RV Park Ends Without Injuries
Woman taken into custody after hours-long standoff prompts firearm and drug seizures, according to Lake County Sheriff’s Office
Law enforcement responded to an armed threat at an RV park in Lakeview late Tuesday morning that ended peacefully with no injuries reported, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 11:55 a.m. on January 14, the Klamath County 911 Communications Center received a report of a woman allegedly brandishing a firearm at an RV park on North H Street. Responding officers determined that Calleén Collver-Holm had threatened another woman with a semi-automatic handgun.
Before deputies arrived, Collver-Holm retreated into her residence and refused to exit for more than two hours. Law enforcement officers and mental health counselors established contact with her by telephone and worked to de-escalate the situation.
Through coordinated de-escalation efforts, responders were able to convince Collver-Holm to exit the residence peacefully. She was taken into custody without incident.
A search warrant was later obtained and served at the residence. During the search, deputies located and seized three semi-automatic firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine paraphernalia, two electronic scales containing drug residue, and a prohibited amount of marijuana.
The incident was resolved safely, and no injuries were reported. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Oregon State Police and Outback Strong for their assistance during the response.
