A driver was arrested following a multi-vehicle crash on Crater Lake Highway in the Medford area that caused congestion and prompted a reconstruction investigation. Police said intoxication contributed to the collision, which resulted in injuries to other drivers. The roadway has since reopened.

A pedestrian was killed Wednesday evening after being struck by a passenger truck in a marked crosswalk at the northbound I-5 Exit 33 onramp in Central Point. The Jackson County STAR Team is investigating the crash.
