Phoenix Woman Arrested After Gun Threat
Police say the suspect entered two homes, took a firearm and threatened others.
PHOENIX, Ore. — A Saturday morning domestic violence call involving a firearm led to the arrest of a 23-year-old woman in northwest Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Police said officers received a report at 10:38 a.m. Saturday, May 23, from a caller reporting that a woman was trying to shoot someone at a residence in northwest Phoenix.
Multiple officers responded, including officers from the City of Talent Police Department. When officers arrived, police said the male victim and female suspect had reentered a secondary house, and the location of the firearm was unknown.
According to Phoenix Police, the first two officers on scene were able to call the involved occupants out of the residence and safely detain them without incident.
The investigation led officers to arrest a 23-year-old woman on two counts of first-degree burglary and menacing with a firearm, domestic violence. Police said the suspect arrived at the residence, unlawfully entered the main house, took a firearm that belonged to the victim, and then unlawfully entered a secondary house where the male victim was sleeping.

Police said the suspect pointed the firearm and made statements that she would kill two other women who were also at the residence with the male victim.
During the investigation, officers located the firearm after it had initially been hidden from police.
The case remains open and ongoing. Phoenix Police said no further information is available for release.
