An elderly woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision Saturday afternoon in Mount Shasta. Police say the driver, later identified as a 45-year-old man, was located, arrested, and booked on felony DUI and hit-and-run charges.

A 29-year-old Myrtle Point woman was killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway 42 in Coos County on December 22, 2025, according to Oregon State Police. The incident involved a single vehicle and remains under investigation.

A Klamath Falls man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing Washburn Way in an electric wheelchair, according to the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office.
