Merkley Announces Town Halls Across Central and Southern Oregon

Senator to visit five counties March 20–21 as part of statewide outreach tour

BEND, Ore. — U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley has announced a series of in-person town halls across Central and Southern Oregon later this month, continuing his annual effort to meet with residents in every county across the state.

Merkley is scheduled to hold community conversations in Klamath and Lake counties on Friday, March 20, followed by events in Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties on Saturday, March 21.

The meetings are part of Merkley’s 2026 town hall tour, which aims to include all 36 counties in Oregon.

“I’m looking forward to again visiting wonderful communities all over our state,” Merkley said. “By talking directly to folks in each county my team and I can go to work for the interests and needs most important in each corner of our state.”

Since taking office in 2009, Merkley has held open town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties annually, totaling more than 630 events.
