KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Linkville Playhouse is bringing fashion, theater and community support together for a unique fundraiser inspired by the upcoming sequel to The Devil Wears Prada.

The local theater will host a fashion show and costume sale from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Yesterday’s Plaza, featuring pieces from the Linkville Playhouse costume closet. The event will include costumes from past productions, vintage pieces from past decades, raffles, cupcakes and a special auction item.

The fundraiser gives community members a chance to see costumes outside of the stage setting while supporting the nonprofit theater, which produces five shows each season along with special “Little Linkville” productions for younger audiences.

“This is an excellent way for the community to take a piece of the Linkville home with them while supporting a lovely nonprofit in the community,” said LeRae Hunt, one of the event organizers and a current Linkville Playhouse board member.

Costume pieces will range from $6 to $100, depending on quality and vintage. Tickets to the event are $10 and are available at Poppy on Main Street or at the door.

The evening will also include raffle prizes and a special auction package: a private showing of The Devil Wears Prada 2 for the winning bidder and 34 guests.

Organizers are inviting the community to attend the fashion-focused fundraiser and support one of Klamath Falls’ local performing arts organizations.
