Siskiyou County investigators await identification and autopsy results
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after human remains were found at the site of a suspected structure fire in the Mount Shasta Vista area earlier this week.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was dispatched at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Monday, January 12, to the Stevens Road area of Mount Shasta Vista following a report of a deceased person.
