Asante Renews Physician Group Agreements

New multi-year contracts with three regional medical groups aim to support patient services across Southern Oregon

MEDFORD, Ore. — Asante has announced new multi-year agreements with three physician groups that provide specialized medical services across the health system’s facilities.

The renewed partnerships include Vista Pathology, Radia, and Southern Oregon Anesthesia, according to the regional health care provider. The agreements follow a previously announced multi-year extension with Southern Oregon Cardiology.

“Asante’s collaborations with these physician groups help maintain alignment around quality and safety, shared strategy and long-term sustainability while keeping health care services available locally,” said Angie Simonson, chief operating officer at Asante.

Under the renewed agreements:

  • Vista Pathology will continue providing on-site pathology services throughout the Asante health system.

  • Southern Oregon Anesthesia will continue delivering anesthesia services across Asante facilities.

  • Radia will provide radiology services at Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford.

Dr. Nichole Steidler of Vista Pathology said the partnership helps maintain local diagnostic and laboratory services that support physicians and patients throughout the region.

“At Southern Oregon Anesthesia, our physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists remain committed to delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care while partnering closely with Asante’s clinical and operational teams,” said Dr. Brian Hall, president of Southern Oregon Anesthesia.

Dr. Seth Urban, president of Radia, said the continued collaboration will support advanced imaging and diagnostic services, including stroke treatment, breast cancer screening, and other specialized radiology services.

Asante officials say the renewed agreements are part of a broader effort to strengthen long-term access to health care services across Southern Oregon.
