Applications Open for 2026–27 Economic Development Grants

City of Klamath Falls: Funding available for nonprofits, events, and community-driven projects beginning July 2026

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — City of Klamath Falls officials announced Monday that grant funding is now available for the 2026–27 fiscal year through two primary funding tracks: the Economic Development Grant Program and a set of Community Initiative and Sponsorship funding programs.

The Economic Development Grant Program is open to eligible nonprofit organizations working to support economic growth and business improvement within Klamath Falls. According to the city, the program is designed to promote long-term economic prosperity by funding initiatives related to business retention, expansion, and recruitment, as well as downtown and neighborhood revitalization, small business support, and housing development.

In addition to economic development grants, the city is also accepting applications for Community Initiative Funding, Event Sponsorship Funding, and Supporting Sponsorship Funding. These programs are intended to support nonprofit organizations, public events, and community-driven projects that provide cultural, civic, or community benefits to local residents.

Applications for all grant and sponsorship opportunities will be accepted beginning Jan. 12, 2026, through March 1, 2026. Funding awards for both the Economic Development Grant Program and the Community Initiative and Sponsorship programs are expected to become available starting July 1, 2026.

City officials are encouraging eligible nonprofits, organizations, and community groups to review program criteria carefully and submit applications before the deadline.

Complete program details and application materials are available through the City of Klamath Falls website. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the City Administration Office.
