Jackson County Search and Rescue located a missing 28-year-old man deceased Wednesday morning near the Lower Table Rock cliffs. Officials say the death appears to be non-criminal and the investigation remains ongoing.

Human remains found in Josephine County in 1978 have been identified as a man who went missing in 1974, with investigators using forensic genetic genealogy to solve the case after more than 50 years.
