Oregon State Police are asking for the public’s help as investigators continue to look for information related to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian on Interstate 5 in Jackson County.

An elderly woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision Saturday afternoon in Mount Shasta. Police say the driver, later identified as a 45-year-old man, was located, arrested, and booked on felony DUI and hit-and-run charges.

Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Highway 99 near Rogue River after a pedestrian was killed while pushing a go-kart. The driver initially fled the scene but later contacted law enforcement and now faces DUII, hit-and-run, and Manslaughter charges.
