MEDFORD, Ore. — Medford’s annual Winter Lights Festival returns to Pear Blossom Park on Saturday, Dec. 6, bringing an expanded lineup of holiday activities, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun. The free event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and is presented by Lithia 4 Kids and the Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department.

This year’s celebration includes the popular candy cane hunt at 5:15 p.m., followed by an evening packed with festive entertainment. Highlights include the official holiday tree lighting, an illuminated parade, live performances, photos with Santa, food trucks, community partner booths, and appearances by DJ Gemineye—who will also lead a special DJ battle beginning at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will receive a glowing bracelet to wear during the festivities, available while supplies last.

For 2025, the festival introduces a new illuminated parade experience. Families are invited to decorate bikes, scooters, strollers, wagons, or similar wheeled items with holiday lights and join Santa for a glowing procession through the park. Participation is free, and residents may pre-register online or by calling 541-774-2400.

The event will also feature the Polar Express, hosted by Lithia & Driveway, offering hot cocoa, cookie decorating, holiday card making, and themed photo booth fun with Boujee Pix.
