MEDFORD, Ore. — Construction continues to move forward on Medford Fire Station 15, with interior and exterior work progressing as crews prepare the facility for future service to the community.
According to an update shared by Medford Firefighters Local 824, interior drywall installation is nearing completion, and kitchen cabinetry is currently being installed inside the station. The work marks a visible step forward as the building begins to take shape.
Exterior construction is also advancing. Crews are preparing to pour concrete for sidewalks and the apparatus bay approach, while installation of exterior siding continues around the structure.
Despite the ongoing construction, Station 15 personnel continue to respond to calls from a temporary apparatus bay during the project. Fire officials say the arrangement allows uninterrupted emergency response coverage while the permanent facility is completed.
Officials noted that the project represents a long-term investment in fire protection and emergency services for the Medford community. Once completed, the station is expected to serve the area for many years.
Construction updates will continue as work progresses toward completion.
