A Roseburg man was arrested after investigators determined a suspected overdose victim in the Green District had purchased fentanyl from him shortly before his death, according to DINT.

The DEA has launched a nationwide enforcement and education campaign called Fentanyl Free America, aimed at reducing both the supply and demand fueling the country’s ongoing synthetic opioid crisis.

A traffic stop in Linn County led to a major fentanyl seizure when Oregon State Police K-9 Millie uncovered a hidden compartment containing drugs, a firearm, and cash. Three suspects were arrested and the case has been referred to the DEA.
