Grants Pass School District 7 has named longtime educator Jason Garcia as the next principal of Grants Pass High School. Garcia will begin leading the school on July 1.

The Oregon School Activities Association has approved new classifications and district alignments for the 2026–30 activity years, including the creation of a new 6A–5A Southwest Hybrid conference affecting several Southern Oregon schools.
