Oregon is now applying SNAP work rules statewide after federal changes ended longstanding waivers for Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents. ODHS says about 37,000 people are affected and encourages anyone with questions to contact the agency.

The Oregon Department of Human Services says December SNAP benefits are being issued on time after last month’s shutdown-related delays. The agency also replaced more than 1,300 EBT cards this week following card-skimming activity detected in the Coos Bay and North Bend area.
