Two 17-year-old Ashland High School students were killed and three others injured in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, February 22, 2026, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

The Oregon School Activities Association has approved new classifications and district alignments for the 2026–30 activity years, including the creation of a new 6A–5A Southwest Hybrid conference affecting several Southern Oregon schools.
