Jacksonville Police reported multiple arrests during the week of April 20–27, including a suspect tied to a violent assault, a convicted felon found with a firearm, and an intoxicated e-bike rider charged with DUII.

A Roseburg man has been arrested and charged with murder after authorities say he killed his 11-month-old son and disposed of the child’s body in the South Umpqua River. Divers located the child’s body Sunday evening as investigators with the Douglas County Major Crimes Team continue the homicide investigation.
